This was a beautiful, intimate beach wedding. Everyone was so relaxed. No pressure, just happy to be together to celebrate Courtney’s and Justin’s big day. The wedding ceremony was held at Kellog Park in La Jolla Shores. Courtney and the girls got ready at the La Jolla Shores Hotel. The hotel was great for pictures. I was fortunate to have Jared Bauman of Bauman Photographers shooting with me. Jared’s images were awesome, as always. Thanks Jared for helping out. After we were done shooting the girls we met up with Justin for shots before the wedding ceremony down at the park. After the ceremony we went down to the beach with Justin and Courtney for more photos. When you look at their photos, it’s clear that they are truly and deeply love each other. Courtney and Justin, thanks for having us. We wish you guys the best. Standby for a killer wedding album!
I spent the afternoon with Bethany and Jeff shooting engagement portraits. We blasted around Balboa Park then we headed down to the beach for some sunset shots. It was a really nice afternoon. I love shooting engagement portraits because we get to choose the location and the time of day. There’s no stress, it’s just get out there and make fun, beautiful imagery. It’s also a great way for us to get comfortable working together. Thanks Bethany and Jeff. I’m looking forward to seeing you guys in October!
I recently had the pleasure of shooting Lisa’s and Ahren’s engagement portraits. My friend Lisa Gisczinkski of ElleG Photography tagged along to help me out. Lisa, thanks for your help. Your images came out great! Lisa and Ahren couldn’t have made our job any easier, or more fun. Our biggest challenge was getting them to stop laughing! If this shoot was a prelude to their wedding, then I can hardly wait for the big event! They are having a beach wedding on April 29th of this month on Coronado Island.
I had so much fun shooting this couple. They couldn’t have been sweeter and that makes it all the more rewarding. Thanks Ahren and Lisa! Thanks Lowell for the invite
It was great to finally meet the man behind the emails.
Love that first ring shot. Wow!
Ha ha! Thanks Jasmine. It nice to meet you too. Hopefully we can chat more next time. Thanks for the feedback.

OOOOoo… i like the green..hmmmm
Beautiful set of images, Lowell! The shots of the bride spinning and the boy’s face being squished stood out, especially!
It was nice meeting you last night.
